Summer 2006. Every year the Airboat Association of Florida has it's annual airboat picnic in the south side of the Tamiami Trail also known as US 41. Airboaters from all over the state come to enjoy the good weather, bbq, raffles, skeet shooting, grease pole and of course some racing.
