Ragtag Baseball.Baseball in the Domincan Republic .On a recent trip to the Dominican Republic I was inspired by these ballplayers. This scene was in the Southwest part of Hispaneola. They play with equipment so battered and bruised I am not sure how they play so well. The team has a regular afternoon practice like a thousand days before.
