Miami, Florida. January 23, 2005. The Everglades Hotel was built in 1926 at 244 Biscayne Blvd. Miami. It took 50lbs of dynamite, 137lbs of steel cutting charges, and several seconds to bring down the historic 17-story Everglades Hotel.
