February 23, 2006. The port of Miami runs east and west by Government Cut. On the south side container ships get unloaded by 300 foot cranes. On the north side is the Cruise Ship docks. On the east end is the PILOT house, where captains bring the ships into port. On the West end is the only road into the port throught downtown Miami.
