At the mouth of the Panama Canal is the neighborhood Casca Vieja aka Casca Antiguo. The point looks toward Punta Paitilla part of Panama City. The point was built after Panama Viejo was abandoned more then 200 years ago. The area now a UNESCO site is home to locals, shops, boutiques, restaurants and night clubs. Many tourist items are also for sale on the street. A cyclist rides past a mural of the Panama Canal.
