Photographs By Andrew Kaufman--Miami, Florida. August 1st, 2006. In Miami's Little Havana on Calle Ocho, Cuban exiles rejoice in hapiness after hearing that Fidel Castro the communist dictator of Cuba had to cede power of Cuba to his brother Raul because of a very difficult surgery on his intestine. The Cuban exiles in Miami are thrilled at the prospect that Fidel might die. They want a free Cuba. They chanted Libertad and Viva Cuba all night long and listened to Salsa songs from Cuba. This is the first time since Fidel took power in 1957 that he has ceded power.
